DESIGNED
AROUND
THE INDIVIDUAL.
Private Experience is a personal design dialogue with Mario Muscariello: a way to develop individual garments, combinations or a complete wardrobe around character, context and the way a person chooses to live.
The person comes before the measurements.
The process does not begin with a tape measure. It begins with a conversation.
How someone dresses, moves, travels, works and spends an evening matters before any technical choice is made. Existing pieces, habits, proportions and personal references become part of the brief.
The objective is not to reproduce a predetermined sartorial formula, but to establish a coherent direction — one that can result in a single piece or develop into a broader wardrobe.
THE CONVERSATION
Personality, lifestyle, occasions, existing wardrobe and expectations are considered first. The conversation defines what is genuinely useful and what should feel unmistakably personal.
THE DESIGN
Silhouette, proportion, fabric, colour and detail are developed as one project. The result may be a shirt, a sahariana, a blazer, eveningwear, separates or a small coordinated wardrobe.
THE MAKING
Once the design is defined, the most appropriate techniques and production capabilities are selected for that particular piece. The method follows the project rather than forcing every project into the same method.

Design first.
Production follows.
The place of production follows the project — not the other way around.
Different garments demand different knowledge, technologies and hands. Production may therefore involve the people and specialist capabilities best suited to the intended result, wherever they are located.
What remains constant is the creative direction: proportion, material, construction, function and the relationship between the garment and the person who will wear it.
From one piece to a personal wardrobe.
ONE PERSON.
ONE DIRECTION.
ONE WARDROBE.
The result is not defined by a label of origin or by a traditional service model. It is defined by coherence between the person, the design and the final object.
