THE
SHIRT

The garment from which everything began.

Before the wardrobe came the shirt. For five generations, it has been the place where the Muscariello idea of dressing is most clearly expressed: softness, proportion, natural fabrics and the intelligence of the hand.

A second skin

Construction should disappear when the shirt is worn.

Each shirt is cut one by one and extensively finished by hand. The aim is not craftsmanship for display, but ease: a collar that sits naturally, an armhole that follows movement, a cuff that closes cleanly and a body that feels light rather than rigid.

The details

A Neapolitan grammar.

Hand-embroidered buttonholes. Australian mother-of-pearl buttons sewn by hand with the distinctive lily attachment. Fine cottons selected for touch and drape. Soft construction and hand-finished points that give the garment character without making it stiff.

From origin to evolution

The shirt was the beginning.
Never the boundary.

Over time, the same ideas of ease, proportion, material and handwork moved beyond shirtmaking. Ties, denim, linen tailoring, saharianas, eveningwear and relaxed pieces became different expressions of one design language.
